In mid-August I booked a tour on Jayleen’s Alaska to show some friends of mine the beautiful scenery of Southeast Alaska. On this tour, we were not only treated to a Humpback mother and calf, but also to a whole pod of orcas that we were able to catch because of the fantastic spotting skills of Captain Jayleen. She expertly positioned the boat, cut the motors, and allowed the orcas to pass under us. Seeing these amazing creatures swim a few feet under us was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Captain Jayleen was friendly, knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about the whales and incredible wildlife of Alaska that it was hard not to also become excited! Their 6-pack boat was clean, safe, and offered an incredible and personal viewing experience. Cannot recommend Captain Jayleen and Jayleen’s Alaska enough! 🐋
