A personalized tour of the Juneau sea life.
We not only saw whales and orcas but were also able to listen to them through a portable hydrophone. A highlight was coming across a school of Dall’s porpoises. As a small group, our helm was able to adjust our course and speed so that the porpoises zig-zagged ahead of our boat and we could easily move between the bow and stern of the boat for some great photos. We also saw a large group of sea lions on a nearby island. During our return we were given an interesting historical background of the area.
