A Whale of a Time
It was a rainy day with temperatures in the high 50’s when we disembarked our Princess cruise in Juneau. We were met by a beautiful person who was concerned about our comfort with the day and if my 90 year old father would be okay in the weather. 45 minutes later we were comfortably aboard Jayleen’s boat cruising toward our first of what would be dozens of whale sightings! The weather was perfect for our family group of six ages 26-90. Jayleen was incredible! She dilegently kept us not only in the action, but was talking to numerous other captains to insure that we were in the best location possible. She worked hard to keep our windows clear between steps outside to be in a better position to see the action. She was visibly enjoying herself and it was like her first time seeing whales! She was having just as much fun as we were being in the moment. She was patient with us, our questions, and most importantly, she gave us the most personalized customer service imaginable. I cant think of a better way to have spent the day in Juneau and we feel so blessed to have found her. It was without a doubt a highlight of our trip and one of the memories we will cherish forever.
