Welcome to our tour page!

We are now accepting reservations for the 2026 summer seasons. Our tours operate, each year, from May 1st – September 23rd.

All tours include transportation from the cruise ship docks in downtown Juneau to Auke Bay, where your tour will leave from. We will also return you back downtown after your whale watch. If you are staying at a local hotel or B&B please reach out to us, letting us know where you will be staying.

Juneau is a temperate rainforest and while we are always hoping for sun, sometimes it doesn’t show – but that won’t stop us from whale watching!

On all of our tours, to date, we are proud to have seen at least one humpback whale! 

Standard 4hr Tour

This includes 3 hours on the boat and 1 hour of ground transportation to and from where you are staying. We will try to fill the boat–so if you are a party of two, you may have the chance to meet four other individuals while on the tour.

Our schedule is flexible daily–we will do our best to accommodate you–please email for our availability.

This tour is $230.00 total, per person – all taxes & fees included.

Occasionally we are lucky enough to witness Humpback Whales feeding on small fish called Herring, at the surface of the water--this behavior is called Lunge Feeding and is always special to see. On tours it is uncommon to see this behavior and can usually be seen once or twice a week by captains.

Private Tour

This is our most personalized tour. This tour (from 1-6 passengers) comes with the guarantee that it will only be your party onboard and you are in control of what you want to see. This tour has two options to choose from:

  • Option one:
    This tour is a private 4hr tour, with 3 hours on board the boat and 1 hour of ground transportation to and from where you are staying.
  • Option two:
    This tour can be as long or a short as you want–this is our most personalized opportunity.

The boat price for a 4 Hour Tour is $1,200.00 – all taxes & fees included.
Every extra hour is $350.00 per hour.

Tandem Tour

Are you traveling with more than 6 passengers, but still want the personalized, private whale watching experience? The more, the merrier!

Between our four separate 6-passenger boats we can accommodate up to a group of 24! If your group would like to tour, six of your party could tour on one boat, with another six on another boat; and so on.

This is called a tandem tour and our captains would travel together the whole time, which would allow for some good group photos between boats!

This tour is $1,200 total, per boat – all taxes & fees included.

Every extra hour is $350.00 per hour.

POLICY:
As of January 1st, 2026, for tours reserved after this date, we will ask for full payment at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?
If you cancel your tour after paying the following cancellation fees will apply:
-7 days or more before your tour: A cancellation fee of 5% of your total tour cost will apply.
-1 to 7 days before your tour: A cancellation fee of 20% of your total tour cost will apply.
-Within 24 hours of your tour: If you cancel within 24 hours of your tour, or do not show up for your scheduled tour, no refund will be given.

Exceptions to the cancellation policy:
-If your cruise ship or flight does not arrive in Juneau due to cancellation or delay, a full refund will be given (documentation is required).
-If you have to cancel your entire trip due to illness or injury, a full refund will be given (documentation is required).
-If you reschedule your trip for a different date, no cancellation fee will apply.

THINGS TO KNOW:

After arriving at the harbor there is a 100 yard walk down a wooden dock to the boat–having a smaller vessel it also means that there are 2 large steps to get in and out of the boat. If this presents a problem for you, we will be happy to recommend a larger, more easily accessible tour company.

The US Coast Guard requires that children under the age of 14 are to wear a lifejacket the entire time, while on board a 6 passenger boat. We provide comfortable children’s life jackets in a variety of colors for children .

We provide a booster seat for young children for transport in our courtesy shuttles; if a car seat is needed please plan on bringing your own.

There are no alcohol, drugs or smoking (this includes e-cigarettes) allowed on the tour, at anytime. If, during the tour, a passenger’s behavior becomes harmful to the safety of anyone on board, the captain reserves the right to bring the boat back to the harbor at anytime.
